The Executive Board

The current Executive Board of the Business Improvement District (BID) were appointed after volunteering their services during the initial set up phase of the project. They will serve until the first Board meeting of 2016 to be held in early January.

Nominations for the Board are made annually at the AGM which this year will be held on the 17th of November.

The Executive Board are responsible for:

  • Guiding and directing the Groundwork South in the delivery of the Business Improvement District
  • Ensuring that Groundwork South is held accountable for the expenditure of BID monies
  • Approving eligible expenditure in line with the delegated powers detailed within the constitution
  • Monitoring and reporting to members of the BID Group on the achievements of the Business Improvement District and its overall performance.
