Marlow Town Council
Jocelyn Towns is an experienced, highly motivated, results orientated marketing/business professional, with a proven track record, offering a combination of creativity, enthusiasm and organisational skills as well as having a tactical and strategic awareness. Jocelyn is a multi-tasker, can project manage, is organised and adaptable to a fast changing environment. She has a proactive approach to work load and is a good communicator. She demonstrates initiative, enthusiasm and a will to win.
Jocelyn’s early career was in the Music business, in PR and marketing for a small record label, and was also involved with business management of a number of bands. She then progressed to the Film Industry in production and film distribution, and just prior to moving to Marlow she worked with a theatre production company.
Jocelyn understands the issues that surround the business park, having worked on the edge of it, for Dun & Bradstreet in Marlow International, for the last 9 years, where she until recently she managed their Global Bid Process. She has now taken on a 14 month project, still in the International Team, as Senior Customer Experience Leader.
Jocelyn has been a Marlow resident for 20 years, and she is also a Marlow Town Councillor. She understands all aspects of local community and local business related issues. Jocelyn has been very involved with the parking situation in and around the Town, an issue high on the agenda, which needs careful evaluation from a combination of stakeholders. She is also the Town Council representative on the Marlow Chamber of Trade.
Jocelyn’s experience and business acumen should be a benefit to the BID committee.
